Williams Selyem Winery began as a simple dream between two friends, Burt Williams and Ed Selyem, who pursued weekend winemaking as a hobby in 1979 in a garage in Forestville, California. In less than two decades, they had created a cult-status winery of international acclaim. Together they set a new standard for Pinot Noir winemaking in the United States, aligning Sonoma County’s Russian River Valley in the firmament of the best winegrowing regions of the world. Today Proprietors John and Kathe Dyson along with VP and Director of Winemaking Jeff Managhas, continue the hand crafted winemaking approach their predecessors created. As stewards of the land first, their goal is to make the best wines, from the best grapes, from the best growers. We invite you to join James Beard Foundation “Best Chef in America 1997”, author and celebrity Chef Charlie Palmer and cult-status Williams Selyem Winery for a four-course wine-paired feast at the exclusive Williams Selyem Estate.
