SONOMA WINEMAKER FOR A DAY WITH BACA WINES, HEALDSBURG
Owned by the Hall Family, BACA is a modern luxury California Zinfandel that fosters a sense of adventure. BACA was founded in 2018, with its inaugural vintage made up of four 2016 California Zinfandels.
Join Director Jennifer Brown & Winemaker Alison Frichtl Hollister as they invite you to become a Sonoma Winemaker for a day for an unmatched experience. Guests will learn winemaking tactics from vine to bottle, immerse themselves into BACA vineyard and learn how to prune and understand vineyard fundamentals. Wear what a winemaker would wear in the vineyards, because we’re getting our hands dirty!
Guests will enjoy a farm-to-table lunch by paired with newly released BACA wines while enjoying breathtaking views of the Dry Creek Valley mountains. Following lunch, guests will be invited to an indoor blending lab and learn how to blend their own wine. The why, when and how of blending techniques will be explored with the BACA Winemaker Alison Frichtl Hollister assisting with guidance. Guests will get to taste each other’s wines and compare flavor profiles. All guests will leave with a newfound understanding of viticulture process – and we hope – a new fan of BACA.
