Designed to “Frame the Vineyard,” the state-of-the-art Silver Oak winery in Healdsburg features panoramic views of the Alexander Valley bench and its surrounding 113-acre estate—75 acres of which are planted to Cabernet Sauvignon. Join Silver Oak Proprietor David R. Duncan for an experience of Sonoma hospitality. Guests will dine under the high ceilings of the modern barn-inspired tasting room adjacent to the iconic Silver Oak water tower. The fresh farm-to-table menu will be prepared by Executive Winery Chef Dominic Orsini, author of Silver Oak Cookbook.

Of course, no meal is complete without wine. In addition to the intimate meal, the group will also privately tour the Alexander Valley facility—with Cabernet in hand—and gain a deeper understanding of how sustainable vineyard management contributes to wine quality, as well as the technologies and practices Silver Oak applies towards resource management and vineyard health.

2022 Inaugural Vintner Grant Honorees
David & Kary Duncan

David and Kary are the proprietors of Silver Oak Alexander Valley and Twomey, Russian River Valley. Owned by the Duncan family.

Kary is a two-time cancer survivor from an aggressive form of MDS, or Myelodysplastic Syndrome, a rare disease in which the bone marrow fails to make enough healthy red blood cells, white blood cells, or platelets.
