CAN I SAFELY ATTEND SONOMA EPICUREAN?
Sonoma Epicurean is best experienced as a three-day series of events, beginning Thursday, March 31 through Saturday, April 2.
We are expecting up to 350 guests throughout the weekend, which aligns with local and state ordinances and venue capacity restrictions.
On February 16, 2022, Sonoma County lifted universal mask requirements for vaccinated individuals in most indoor public settings.
The V Foundation takes event safety seriously. For more on the precautionary measures aimed at preventing and reducing the spread of COVID-19 among our attendees, please visit our health and safety protocol.
HOW CAN I RESERVE HOTEL ROOMS FOR THE WEEKEND?
Weekend Guests of Sonoma Epicurean are invited to stay with us at Montage Healdsburg.
Reservations are booked on a first-come, first-served basis when registering for the weekend events, and the cost of admissions for events does not include hotel accommodations.
For more information, please contact Sasha Michael at firstname.lastname@example.org.
IS TRANSPORTATION INCLUDED?
Transportation to all Sonoma Epicurean events not hosted at Montage Healdsburg is included with the price of admission, with departures to/from designated locations. Transportation to/from the hotel and airport is not included.
Valet service will be available on Friday, April 1 at Mayacama as well as Saturday, April 2 at Montage Healdsburg. Parking for individual winery dinners is available on a first come, first served basis in the designated guest parking lot.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
We suggest layered attire for the evenings when temperatures in the valley can cool and stylish attire for the Epic Feast & Auction. We recommend wedges/flats be worn for the grounds at the location.
The dress attire for the Epic Party at Mayacama is Elegantly Casual. Jackets are not required.
Our Culinary Artisan activities will provide a myriad of settings, and appropriate attire is suggested, depending on the activity. Most activities will take place outdoors, on a variety of walking surfaces (i.e. vineyard, lawn, olive grove etc) therefore, we recommend appropriate footwear be worn for the grounds at these activities.
I AM UNABLE TO ATTEND THIS YEAR, BUT I'D LIKE TO CONTRIBUTE. HOW CAN I SUPPORT THE CAUSE?
Proceeds from the event will benefit the V Foundation for Cancer Research and the Stuart Scott Memorial Cancer Research Fund, which awards grants that support minority researchers and research that addresses the biological basis of cancer disparities.
Our goal is to bring resolution to inequities in the cancer space. Your support will accelerate cutting-edge research, help experts diagnose cancer earlier and treat it more effectively, and fuel our commitment to inclusion which helps us close the gap, unconscious bias and disparities in our work to end cancer.
Jim Valvano’s famous quote was “Don’t give up … Don’t ever give up!”– We carry that spirit forward as we launch Sonoma Epicurean with the unified goal of Victory Over Cancer.®
