SONOMA WINEMAKER FOR A DAY WITH BACA WINES

Join Vintner Jennifer Brown & Winemaker Alison Frichtl Hollister as they invite you to become a Sonoma Winemaker for a day for an unmatched experience. Guests will learn winemaking tactics from vine to bottle, immerse themselves into BACA vineyard and learn how to prune and understand vineyard fundamentals with Director of Vineyard Don Munk (or Katie). Wear what a winemaker would wear in the vineyards because we’re getting our hands dirty! Guests will enjoy a farm-to-table lunch by (*TBD) paired with newly released BACA wines while enjoying breathtaking views of the Dry Creek Valley mountains. Following lunch, guests are invited to an indoor blending lab where they will learn how to blend their own wine. The why, when and how of blending techniques will be explored with the BACA Winemaker Alison Frichtl Hollister assisting with guidance. Guests will get to taste each other’s wines and compare flavor profiles.

TASTE OF DOWNTOWN HEALDSBURG

Join a local historian for a walking tour of downtown Healdsburg and its Spanish style Plaza that was built and established in 1857 by entrepreneur, Harmon Heald.  Following the tour, explore the wines of Sonoma County at one of the many tasting rooms lining the square, enjoy boutique shopping and art galleries at leisure. A casual lunch at Oakville Grocery is included.

IN THE VINEYARD WITH AMES MORISON

Join Medlock Ames co-founder Ames Morison for an in-depth guided tour of Bell Mountain Vineyard where Ames will share their farming and winemaking philosophy, followed by a tasting of the wines paired with culinary delights from SingleThread, Sonoma County’s first and only 3 Michelin Star restaurant.  As fellow members of the Healdsburg farming community, Medlock Ames and SingleThread share similar commitments to sustainability, regenerative farming and preserving the biodiversity of our land.  The Wine Pairing Lunch will include a SingleThread chef-curated “bento box”, with each item artfully paired with Medlock Ames organically farmed wines.

CULINARY THEATER AT THE MATHESON WITH DUSTIN VALETTE

Peruse the offerings and make your wine selection for lunch from the 88-bottle self-service wine bar at The Matheson, before finding your seat  for culinary theater with Chef/Owner Dustin Valette. Enjoy the show from Dustin’s open kitchen as he prepares a farm-to-table lunch and shares a few secrets from the kitchen.
